Elm (2021) is a video installation piece.

Built for the Polygon’s 2020 Response Program, Elm is a multimedia installation that was built on March 10th, 2021. By using a six-channel audio rig suspended from a tree, all noise within a 50-meter radius is audible. When displayed in a gallery setting, it is projected onto a wall to scale to emulate the sensation of being present in the environment onscreen.

Materials: Tree, microphones, XLR cables, audio leveller.
